1911 - Formed by consolidation of Ewing-McLin and Illinois presbyteries by North Central Synod

1988 - North Central Presbytery and Covenant Presbytery created by Synod of Midwest in major reorganization of Cumberland Presbyterian Church Synods and Presbyteries. Ewing-McLin-Illinois. Most churches became part of North Central Presbytery but some churches were made a part of Covenant Presbytery.
