1848 - Became part of newly formed Cumberland Synod.
1852 - Became part of Middle Tennessee Synod upon dissolving of Cumberland Synod.
1888 - Became part of Tennessee Synod - consolidation of Columbia, East Tennessee, Middle Tennessee, and West Tennessee Synods.
1899 - Included in Clarksville Presbytery in reorganization of Tennessee Synod.

Resolved, That
the Nashville
Presbytery and the same is hereby so divided as to constitute
three--1st. one embracing all that portion of territory now included
in the Nashville,
North of the Cumberland river, to be known by the name of Hodge.
2d. One embracing all that territory lying west of Harpeth river,
except that part lying convenient to the Bethel and Lieper's fork
churches, to be known by the name of Charlotte. 3d. The remainder
continue to be called Nashville.
That the Charlotte hold her first session at the town of
Charlotte, Dixon county, Tenn., on Friday before the 3d Sabbath
in March, A.D. 1848, at 11 o'clock, A.M.; Rev.
Wm. H. Guthrie be the first Moderator, and Rev. J. T. Morris
be his alternate.
