REV. R. R. CROCKETT

Rev. R. R. Crockett was born September 2, 1860, near Boonville, Mo. He was educated in Clarksburg and Warrensburg, Mo. He joined the presbytery at the age of of twenty-three. He preached at Jamestown and Clarksburg, Mo. He came to Texas in 1889. He served Jacksonville, Ladonia, Wolf City, Whitewright, and Temple in Texas. Then he was six years in Oklahoma, at Lehigh and Oklahoma City. Then again in Texas he served Kosse and Fairview, Denton, and McGregor. He died at Groesbeck, Texas, February 14, 1936. He was an unusually faithful presbyter. Prompt and regular in attendance, capable in decision and valuable in committee work.
