The CAM Craft Cabin is located in
Townsend, TN “the peaceful side
of the smokies”.
The Craft Cabin Outlet is one of the
several ministries of the Coalition for
Appalachian Ministries (CAM).
It provides a place for low income
and local crafters throughout
Appalachia sell their handcrafted items. The proceeds from craft sales help provide a supplement to their often low incomes.
Among the crafts, you will find some
“one of a kind” things, some funny things,
some excellent crafted things, and some
things that represent a dying art form
and tradition in Appalachian region.
One thing you will not find is imported,
mass produced items.
Churches interested in having a selection
of CAM Crafts to include in a Mission Fair or local Church Craft Bazaar are encouraged to contact the CAM Cabin Crafts Coordinator for details.
